Given the nature of our business we are very much aware that it can very difficult for you, our customer, to get in to see us. At Shire Mobility we also understand that some customers may have anxieties about venturing outside of their home – it is our job to ease these anxieties, not contribute to them. That’s why, if it’s difficult for you to come to us, we are always happy, where practical and feasible, to come to you instead – and we’ll bring a selection of our products with us to demonstrate.
Whether you’re an existing customer who needs further help or a prospective customer that has yet to decide on our services, if you want to see us but don’t want to make the journey, depending on your location and the products that you are interested in, a home visit may be possible. We will deliver your mobility aids ourselves whenever practical. This means that, for large items wheelchairs, beds, riser chairs and mobility scooters, we will deliver to your home provided you live within a 30 to 40 mile radius of either our Northampton or Bicester branch. We can also arrange a courier or postal service for smaller items. However, in these instances, there will be a small charge to cover our costs . Installation and Setting up
If you have purchased a stair lift, our dedicated engineers will be on site to fully install and complete a detailed handover. For larger items such as riser chairs and beds our delivery personnel will setup the item and clear away all the packaging. You can be rest assured we will make sure that whatever is supplied is correctly adjusted where required to ensure that you get the best service from your purchase.
