Home Visits

We are always happy, where practical and feasible, to visit you in your home with a selection of products to demonstrate. Whether you’re an existing customer who needs further help or a prospective customer that has yet to decide on our services, you can enquire about the feasibility of a home visit today by contacting us through our contact page.


We will deliver your mobility aids ourselves whenever practical. We can deliver large items, such as wheelchairs and beds within a 40-mile radius of our branches. For smaller items, courier or postal services are an inexpensive option, which we can help you arrange. To arrange a delivery, please contact us through the form our contact page.

Installation & Setup

Whether you have purchased a stairlift, riser chair, or any other product requiring installation, we will make sure our engineers and delivery personnel set it up in a way that ensures you get the best service from your purchase.


We offer servicing and maintenance of all the scooters, wheelchairs and stairlifts we supply. Our Aftercare & Support

At Shire Mobility, service doesn’t end with the sale. We are fully committed to providing you with first class ongoing support and a service that ensures our customers get what they were promised: better quality of life through more mobility. In a practical sense, that means that we promise you warranty support together with a top quality aftersales service, including the servicing and repairs to your purchase.


Depending on the product itself, our products come with a manufacturers warrant ranging from one to five years. In most cases, the warranty will include cover for parts, labour, and callout, in the eventuality that something goes wrong. Your warranty will generally cover mechanical and electrical breakdowns. Accidental damage is not covered.

We strongly believe that any business operating in the healthcare sector has a responsibility and commitment to its customers to provide an ongoing service which guarantees that they are looked after.

Servicing & Repairs

All workshop repairs are carried at our Northampton location by our trained engineers. We carry an extensive range of spare parts to ensure that repairs are carried out promptly wherever possible. There are times when we need to order specific parts from the manufactures which may well add to your down time. Shire Mobility is proud of the fact that its staff are friendly, efficient and professional. No work will be undertaken without the customer’s prior authorisation.

We carry a stock of tyres and batteries to fit almost every type of mobility product. Servicing and repairs to stairlifts is always carried out in your home and great care is taken to make sure that no mess is created. Our engineers are here to help you and are only a phone call away
