There are options available such as powered footrest and swivel along with a hinge. All of this would be discussed when we conduct a survey of your stairs in your home.
Straight stairlifts and curved stairlifts can last for many years. It all depends on how they are looked after and their use. Remember there are moving parts so it is always best to have your stairlift serviced once a year. That way any potential issues can be rectified quickly.
